World vets Motocross - Farleigh Castle
One of the highlight meetings for the 2024 British summer will be the World Vets Motocross. Set for the legendary Farleigh Castle circuit on the 20th and 21st of July, a host of veteran and current motocross legends will be putting their legacy on the line as they battle each other.
Leading the way will be 2001 World 125cc champion James Dobb, along with one of Dobb’s biggest rivals from his 125cc GP days, and himself a former AMA 125cc champion, Mike Brown. Multiple World motocross championship runner-up and Motocross des Nations winner, Kurt Nicoll, will also be racing, along with another multiple World number two Tommy Searle, King of Japan GP winner, Billy Mackenzie, all-time British legend and MXdN hero, Rob Herring and multiple AMA supercross and motocross champion and MXdN hero, Jeff Emig and many more.

Event promoter Richard Wood, who will be racing himself in the over 60 class is excited for what should be a real highlight for British motocross. News soon also on two wildcard riders, both former FIM and AMA motocross champions and MXdN legends.
“We have a great rider line-up this year with names like Kurt Nicoll, Jeff Emig, Mike Brown, Rob Herring, Tommy Searle, Ryan Morias, Jake Nicolls, Brad Anderson, Graeme Irwin, Jamie Dobb, Billy Mackenzie, Marc Velkeneers and two riders, we cannot mention yet and on machines that will be very interesting to the public and media. We are really excited for when these two riders are announced. These two haven’t ridden in the UK since they retired, but are very special riders, who have a lot of Motocross des Nations experience and Worldwide legends. We are excited for our field of riders and we also have a long list of former racers outside this group I mentioned.”
More soon on the two wildcard riders and also more information about the schedule and what to expect at this classic event in the UK calendar. For more information on tickets, you can go right here. Don't miss out, this is going to be huge: worldvetsmotocross.com
