Wilson in For Dortmund
The Dortmund Supercross has had a long line of legendary winners, from the very first being Grand Prix legend, Georges Jobe, to Broc Glover, Bobby Moore, and Guy Cooper, but also many of the typical European supercross names have stood on top of the podium as King of Dortmund. This year, or at least, in January, the famous German event will welcome a former AMA champion and World travelling, Dean Wilson.
Wilson, the former AMA 125cc motocross champion and decade long top ten guy in USA might be on the downside of his career, but the Scotsman sure isn’t slowing down in appearances. Wilson who races the Arenacross Tour in the UK, the World supercross and the Australian supercross and has ridden all over the World recently, will also line up at the Dortmund Supercross in January.
“Really looking forward to racing in Germany for the first time for the Luke Racing Honda team at the Dortmund Supercross. Its my first time in Germany and its a three-night event, which will be fun. Looking forward to meeting all the German fans.”
In what will be a tough month for the Honda rider, where he will race two rounds of the Arenacross Tour in the UK, at Birmingham on January 4, and London on January 18, the January 11 Dortmund race will fall between the two British races. He will also race the Belfast round of the Arenacross Tour on January 31.
