Star Racing Yamaha rider Cooper Webb has finally won the King of Paris, with a consistent weekend of racing. Webb went 3-1-2 on Saturday and then on Sunday he scored 2-2-3.

While Jett Lawrence won five or the six races, his 13th place on one of the races yesterday cost him big time. Malcolm Stewart finished second overall and Lawrence was third.

The performance by Lawrence, where he went 1-13-1-1-1-1 and also won the superpole on both days and he was leading that second race on Saturday, before running into a lapped rider and crashing.

Cooper Webb: Finally, I have been coming here and long time and finally King of Paris. Jett was the best guy, but had some bad luck and I had some good battles with Malcolm and can finally tick this off the list.

Malcolm Stewart: Very excited to be back in Paris, this is a great opportunity and Jett coming back from his spill and going 1-1 and thanks to everyone for allowing me to be here.

Jett Lawrence: I should have missed the back wheel of a lapper, that wasn’t ideal.

SX1 Race Three

Stewart has the lead over Jett Lawrence in the final SX1 race, but the Aussie quickly into the lead as Webb was fourth with Aranda third, Tixier fifth, but Webb into third and Hunter Lawrence in sixth place. Hunter Lawrence passed Aranda and into fourth.

Jett Lawrence pulled away already from Stewart and Webb, who were again battling for the second spot. Lap four the lead by Lawrence over Stewart was 1.9 seconds. The AMA supercross champion has been a class of his own this weekend. Hunter Lawrence a crash and now back in fifth place.
