“Pay Dirt: The Story of Supercross,” the rave-reviewed feature documentary from two-time Emmy-winning filmmaker Paul Taublieb, and narrated by Academy Award-nominated actor Josh Brolin, is now playing exclusively in theaters nationwide.

Produced by TAUBLIEB Films under lead producer Susan Cooper and in conjunction with Monster Energy, and with the support of Feld Motorsports, “Pay Dirt” is a cinematic and emotional exploration into the toughest sport on the planet, appealing to fans and neophytes alike.

It includes the untold story of the birth of the sport, the brainchild of Mike Goodwin, who is interviewed from prison where he is serving double life sentences for the murder of his former partner and wife, as well as featuring the biggest names in the long and storied history of Supercross, including Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, Jeff Emig, Ryan Villopoto, Ricky Johnson, Haiden and Brian Deegan, and in a rare on-camera appearance that lights up the screen with honesty and bravado, the legendary Bob “Hurricane” Hannah. The film also chronicles the incredible emotional journey of Jimmy Button and his comeback from a life-changing crash which inspired him to create the Road2Recovery Foundation, the official non-profit supported by the film.

Combining rare archival footage and stills with state-of-the-art cinema cameras the film capture the on-track action as never seen before. Emotional interviews bring the heart, soul, and grit of the sport to life.
