A big day for Red Bull KTM Factory rider Chase Sexton in the 450 class with a victory at the Glendale triple header as he finished ahead of Cooper Webb and Ken Roczen. Victory for Triumph in the 250 class with Jordon Smith winning ahead of Haiden Deegan and red hot Kiwi, Cole Davies.

Chase Sexton: The first two races I got terrible starts and made my life difficult, but the last race I got a good start, and I rode good tonight, it was a solid race and pumped with the overall and a pumped to race with Kenny. The track was gnarly. I didn't know where Jett and Ken were, but I knew where Coop was. I got past Kenny and was pushing and I knew where I was with the maths in my head, so I knew where I was at. I just tried to ride solid. Starting up front in the final race made my life easier.

HRC rider and defending champion, Jett Lawrence out with what looked like a knee injury when he caught his leg in a rut early in lap one in the final race, having gone 2-2 earlier.

Sexton scored 3-3-2 results for the overall, with Cooper Webb second with 1-5-3 and Ken Roczen 4-1-5. Then came Eli Tomac 6-4-1, Hunter Lawrence 5-9-4 and Jason Anderson 11-6-8.

Jett Lawrence finished 8th overall with his 2-2-DNF. He was seen walking and it seems he might have extended the knee and hopefully its just kept him out of that final race and not the rest of the season.

If he can race the next round, very lucky it was a triple header and not just one main event format. Eighth overall is a lot better than 22nd.

In the championship points, Sexton regains the red plate Chase Sexton 84, Ken Roczen 82, Eli Tomac 75, Cooper Webb 74, Jett Lawrence 71. Might have to start calling it the big five as all these guys have a shot at the championship as the points tighten up.

In the 250 class Smith went 2-3-1, with Deegan 3-2-4 and Davies 1-1-8, while Julien Beaumer scord 4-7-2 for fourth overall. Davies looking the real deal and he will be hard to stop if he continues getting this type of momentum.
