American Joey Savatgy who showed the best speed in Wollongong this morning, his 5-1-1 giving him victory ahead of UK rider, Dean Wilson who was a very strong 2-2-2 in the three SX1 main events. While it was probably Australian Luke Clout did well with a win in the opening final, then adding 3-5 to his tally, while other Aussies to shine were Jed Beaton with 4-4-4 and Aaron Tanti with 3-11-3.

And another American racer Shane McElrath has finished with 1-1-1 performances to grab the Australian SX2 overall at the third round of the series in Wollongong today. The Honda rider was in a dominant mood finishing ahead of Canadian Cole Thompson and Brode Connolly in the opening final, before beating home Jayce Cosford and Connolly in the second final and then wrapping up final number three ahead of Thompson and Connolly. Connolly finished second overall with his very consistent 3-2-2 performance, with Thompson third with 2-6-2 results.
