On Sunday, February 23, the starting gate will drop for the first time on Dutch soil in Lierop. The field of participants is getting stronger and stronger, promising an exciting race. Today, Marc Antoine Rossi from the Red Bull KTM Factory team has confirmed his participation in the MX2 class.

Rossi is one of the young talents who could surprise in this year’s World Championship. After a strong season in the EMX250 Championship in 2023—where he secured three moto wins and an overall victory—he made the step up to the MX2 World Championship in 2024. David Braceras finished second last weekend at the British Hawkstone Park and is heading to Lierop. Lierop will mark his first race on Dutch soil in this class.

Also present is Gyan Doensen, who has moved up from the 125cc class to the 250 class and will make his Dutch debut in Lierop, just like Valk. Doensen his team mate in the Gabriel SS24 team, Max Werner, will also be present on the Dutch sand circuit.

Bradley Mesters, who delivered impressive performances last year and finished third in Hawkstone Park last weekend, is currently undergoing an intensive training program under the guidance of former Grand Prix winner in Lierop, Marc de Reuver. He will also be in Lierop, along with Nicolas Vennekens, Scott Smulders, and Quentin Prugnieres from WZ Racing, as well as Nico Greutmann, who won the ADAC Youngster Cup title last year.
