Ken Roczen has told the American media (PulpMX) that he is 100% in for Team Germany at the 2024 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations, which is a huge rider to have at an event that will already have names like Jett Lawrence, Tim Gajser, Hunter Lawrence, Jorge Prado, Chase Sexton, Jeffrey Herlings, Eli Tomac (wants in), Romain Febvre and so many more. It's going to be a huge event and it might even take over that sensational 2006 MXdN when Everts battled James Stewart as the best Nations ever. Or maybe even better than 1986 and 2006 at Maggiora. 2024 has that potential and Kenny wants a peice of it.

“Yes, I want to (do it), I have had my sights on that for a long time. I really enjoyed last year, and it was an experience. The last few years, I haven’t done it, and the last time was maybe 2018 and it was a disaster in Redbud. Then I went last year, and it was an experience on another level. The venue isn’t that big there, but all those people, it is just a very special and unique race and I enjoyed it a lot and as soon as it was over, I said I am going back again in 2024, especially because it is Matterley Basin and its one of my all-time favourite tracks and I haven’t been there for ages. I really love that track.”

Of course Roczen finished with stunning 3-2 results in France last year for Team Germany and showed that his motocross skills have not fallen. To see him at Matterley, a track EVERYONE loves, its going to be a war for sure.

Seeing a possible Herlings vs Roczen is something we will all enjoy, taking us back to the 2010 and 2011 seasons when they were the two young guns about to take over the World. Watch the full video here with Steve Matthes and Ken Roczen: Ken Roczen Talks Future in Sport
