Monster Energy Yamaha rider Maxime Renaux was quickest in the MXGP timed practice with a last lap charge to clock a 1.45.921 and steal the top spot from Tim Gajser, who finished second and third was Romain Febvre.

Early Romain Febvre did a 1.47.684 and Lucas Coenen clearly not troubled yet by his injury and finished with a 1.53.707 for third quickest. Mattia Guadagnini did a 1.48.137 on the Ducati to go second quickest. Kawasaki looking good early as Pauls Jonass did a time of 1.49.357 to move to third fastest. Another Ducati in the top five as Seewer did a 1.49.729 for fifth fastest and Febvre crashed, just a small tip over.

Jan Pancar as always surprising everyone with a time of 1.48.398 to be third quickest and again Febvre did a quicker lap but was baulked by a crashed Tim Gajser just on the finish line. Gajser did go 1.48.192 for fifth quickest and dropped his countryman Pancar to sixth quickest. Lucas Coenen down in 20th place, and then HRC man Ruben Fernandez clocked a time of 1.47.191 to top the charts and continue his love of Argentina (he won here a couple of years ago).

Isak Gifting, like Pancar showing his speed as he went 1.47.262 for third fastest. Maxime Renaux not impressing yet as he went 1.48.541 for 11th place. Jago Geerts also struggling on the Yamaha and in 15th spot. Gajser goes to the top with a time of 1.46.365 and the Honda man looking very good.

Brian Bogers second fastest and Fantic impressing and the Ducati’s of Guadagnini and Seewer were 10th and 20th in the times. Renaux goes to fourth fastest and another Frenchman, Febvre also a quick time to get back to second quickest. Kevin Horgmo to fourth quickest and Gajser improves his time with a 1.46.213. Renaux another quick lap as he goes to second with 1.46.363. So, what many say is the big three, Gajser, Renaux and Febvre quickest so far.

Lucas Coenen still struggling with 17th place and Guadganini a big crash as he runs around in 11th spot, Seewer 15th and the Ducati’s struggling somewhat. Renaux clocked the quickest time to go to the top with a 1.45.921 and then came Gajser with 1.46.213 and Febvre 1.46.704. Also within a second of the top time were Ruben Fernandez with 1.46.785 and Genn Coldenhoff 1.46.904.
