Jorge Prado is on pole for this afternoons MXGP qualification race and is looking very, very fast on the tough Lommel circuit. Under overcast skies, the defending MXGP champion clocked a time that was for a long period of the practice, 1.5 seconds quicker than anyone else.

Conrad Mewse was second quickest for a long period, until Jeffrey Herlings put down a lap that was very close to the time of Prado. Mewse remained third quickest, then Brian Bogers and Tim Gajser.

In the MX2 class, it was Dutchman Kay De Wolf who fought off the Belgians to be quickest in the second training and will go to the start line on pole this afternoon. Liam Everts was second quickest, then Camden McLellan, Lucas Coenen and Rick Elzinga.
