The Fox Australian Supercross Championship finally kicks off tomorrow at Kayo Stadium, Redcliffe, in Queensland! It’s time to get pumped for an action-packed weekend of racing with the biggest names in the sport aiming to come away from Redcliffe with the red plate.

Australia’s 2022 Motocross Champion, Aaron Tanti is a leader in the lineup as is American Joey Savatgy will race the entire series for the Factory Honda Racing Team, defending Australian Supercross Champion Dean Wilson, hailing from Glasgow, Wilson returns to defend his crown following a standout 2023 season, where he clinched the Australian title.

More American Supercross regulars Shane McElrath and Cole Thompson have been heavily linked to Honda Racing’s SX2 program in the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX), all but certain after appearing on the class entry list aboard CRF machinery.

Among the other key challengers is nine-time Australian Supercross and Motocross Champion Matt Moss, who will ride for CDR Yamaha Monster Energy on a YZ450F this season. Moss, eager to add another championship to his impressive resume, will be competing alongside new teammate Jed Beaton. Also, in the mix will be 2023 SX1 runner up and now Empire Kawasaki rider, Luke Clout, who finished his last Australian campaign with a win and will be looking to go one better this season.
