It has been reported that KTM is being allowed to continue in its current form following a first creditors’ hearing at the Regional Court in Austria yesterday. Investors have also expressed interest in a €700 million payout to help KTM, on the back of the companies €1.8 billion debt.

"Today marks an important day for KTM with the confirmation of our restructuring proceedings. This milestone secures our plan moving forward, and we are proud to confirm that motorsport remains an integral part of this restructuring plan. KTM stands firmly committed to motorsport."

It has also been reported that 300 people will be layed off and not the 500 expected. As we showed you on mxlarge yesterday, KTM released a statement on Friday afternoon claiming it was “not letting off the throttle” into 2025.

All sounds positive and for the sport, their riders and teams, this could be the start of another strong challenge by KTM to win championships throughout the World.
