Jack Chambers Leaves GP's
American Jack Chambers has ended his Grand Prix adventure. The former Steve Dixon Kawasaki rider never really took off in Europe but did put together some solid performances and also made a good impression in the British MX2 championship.
Finishing 17th and 19th in his two seasons in Europe, Chambers averaged around 10 points a GP, over the 25 GPs he raced. He finished just outside the top ten on a handful of occasions, with 12th in the Swedish GP and Argentina this year, his best result overall. His regular place was around 15th place, but he definitely learnt a lot while racing in Europe.
"The past two seasons racing MXGP, I've learned so much and grown as a person, living on my own, traveling the world. I got to see some of the most amazing things and meet some of the coolest people. Over the past year and a half, I've made memories that will last a lifetime. Huge thank you to @dixonracingteam for the opportunity and @stevedixon for teaching me how far to push it before missing a flight! To all I came in contact with and helped me while across the pond, thank you. 'Til next time. Excited to see what happens next..."
Where his career heads from here is anyone’s guess, as he had raced AMA in 2021 and 2021 with his highest championship placing being 28th in the 2022 250 SX, where he finished 28th. He also finished 28th in the 2023 250 SX series.
