Happy New Year - MXLarge

Can’t believe another year is behind us and as we head into 2025, there is a lot to look forward to. Of course, A1 is just a little over two weeks away, and we all get to see how our MXGP World champion, Jorge Prado can do, but also the exciting young Aussie talent, Jett Lawrence. Not to mention the likes of Eli Tomac, Cooper Webb and Chase Sexton. The big four will be too much for the Spaniard, but we will all be rooting for Prado, no matter what.

The 2025 season starts with the Dakar Rally in Abu Dhabi on January 3, and a day later, on January 4 at Birmingham in England, the 2025 Arenacross Tour begins, and we all look forward to following that series as it runs around the UK, but also in Abu Dhabi.

We here at MXlarge have always loved what we do and presenting the motocross news to you all continues to make us excited. Having started working in the sport in the 1980s in Australia and now working at Grand Prix and AMA events since my first GP at Carlsbad in USA in 1984, I am one of the longest running media guys and while my 63 year mind and body remain fit and healthy, I hope we can continue to bring you news about the sport for another decade or two. I love it too much to stop.

2024 was the 25th year MXLarge has been online and as the longest running and most successful and respected motocross website in Europe, we are proud to once again have all our advertisers signing up. The industry loves us as much as we love them.

We would like to thank Infront, MXGP.tv, KTM, Alpinestars, Acerbis, Parts Europe, Leatt, FMF, Husqvarna, WP, GasGas, Vertex, Feld/MXsports, ProCarbon, GUTS, THOR, BIHR, Arenacross Tour, MDRacing, Bell Helmets and Fly Racing for their support in 2025, giving us maybe our best advertising year since 1999. Without these companies, MXLarge wouldn’t be able to maintain our coverage of the sport and I sure hope you all send some business their way.

We will be heading out for some drinks and a New Years Eve party in Arnhem, Holland tomorrow night, but we will be back in 2025, excited and ready to give you the best coverage of the sport in Europe.
