The ADAC Supercross Dortmund (10 to 12 January 2025) will once again be a big stage for hopeful young talents this year. In the SX4 and eKids classes, children and young people from six to twelve years of age start in front of the impressive backdrop of the Westfalenhalle. On each day of the event, the kids will compete in their final runs in the evening program.

The topic of 'revenge' is omnipresent in both classes. In the SX4, the best pilots of the German Championship start with racing machines with 65cc displacement. As champion in the DMX and last year's winner in Dortmund, Felix Siegl is the favorite.

"In 2024, things went very well for me and I was able to take many victories. Now I'm really up for the ADAC Supercross in Dortmund," says the ten-year-old. "I've been looking forward to this all year. My goal is the mini prince. But so much can happen in the hall that it's hard to say who will win the thing."

One of Siegl's biggest competitors is Jesko Loberenz from Lutherstadt Eisleben. In the championship, he took the chasing position after eight events. Of 16 race wins, ten went to Siegl and six to Loberenz.

In addition to the top riders from the DMX, local hero Paul Wirth from Schermbeck will also be part of the team. Last year, the 12-year-old won the 65cc class of the ADAC MX Cup, which is held in North Rhine-Westphalia. He took 28 podiums in 36 races and won three.

"I'm really looking forward to my debut in Dortmund," said Wirth. "We live just under half an hour away from the Westfalenhalle. Many friends and my family will be there to cheer me on." He remains calm about the result: "I'll take it easy. There are some guys who are much stronger than me." Wirth will have to compete above all with Lennard Gräb from Neunkirchen, who finished second in the 2024 ADAC MX Cup.

The participants of the eKids races are literally electrified. With eBikes from KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas, the top riders of the ADAX MX national finals will compete in the Westfalenhalle. The best-placed young drivers will meet again in Dortmund.

In Höchstädt at the beginning of October, more than 220 young motocross talents fought for the coveted titles in demanding, damp conditions. In the class up to 50 cc (6-9 years), Joschua Kolodziej-Rath secured victory after Lennox Kruck and Ben Maier finished second and third. The semi-finals were won by Maier and Mikkel Zankel. All three are in Dortmund.

After his premiere at the Supercross in the Westfalenhalle last year, Hannes Bremke, known as Sänger, will also be back in 2025. The eight-year-old local hero from Dortmund will once again refer to his favourite team this year and play in a BVB jersey – even with original signatures of the Bundesliga professionals.

"I'm highly motivated and I'm really looking forward to my home race in front of so many spectators," he says. "I've trained specifically for Dortmund and want to get good results." After the season opener in front of a large crowd, Sänger will then continue in the DMX, where he will compete for the German championship for the first time in the 50cc class.
