Dean Wilson - Injury Update
Dean Wilson is in danger of missing the Arenacross Tour in the UK, the Dortmund Supercross, the final round of the World supercross in Abu Dhabi and his Australian supercross obligations, after being taken out by Vince Friese at the third round of the World supercross championship last weekend in Perth, Australia and injuring his shoulder. The Scotsman, who had looked really strong all weekend wasn't happy when he placed a video on his social media accounts.
“Anyways, dislocated my shoulder, I’ve torn my labrum, and it’s putting everything in jeopardy as far as WSX and the UK goes. I didn’t see it coming, didn’t brace for it, nothing. I didn’t see there was even any need for it."
“Typical Vince shit. Its complete f***ing bullshit and I have said it millions of times, where is the punishment. I mean, now he has actually hurt someone, what is next, to paralyze someone? He never gets penalized for anything he does. I am just sick of it. Now, I may have to get surgery and now all the race plans, the cool schedule, might be off, because somebody injured me. To say I am frustrated is a light way of putting it. It sucks, I was on a pretty good roll, and I think my riding was really good. Saw the doctors last night and got an MRI and all that. I will just do therapy and figure out if I want to get an operation."
“I hate having to even be doing this shit. But I’m over it, enough is enough. We have had no problems since A-1 I was moving along and racing forward. Clearly, he’s soft and can’t handle the heat of dropping back every race and just targeted me.”
“I’m sorry I even had to do this post. I wish it was something positive after the weekend. But enough is enough. Also excuse the language for the wee ones, just frustrated… I want to thank Doctor Steve Andrews for getting me in quick last night. Thank you Yarrivek and Martin Davalos also my wife Sarah Vanicek. I really want to still come to the UK, Germany & Of course race US SX but we will just see what we decide to do. Thank you all for the support.”
