Crawford Injury Update - ASX
Former Grand Prix rider and one of the leading riders back in Australia, Nathan Crawford will not race this weekend opening round of the 2024 Fox Australian Supercross Championship and will also miss round two as he continues to recover from surgery on his wrist injury.
The Aussie busted his wrist in the final round of the Australian motocross championship, which saw him miss the MXGP of China and the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations (for New Zealand).
Nathan Crawford: “It’s disappointing to be missing the first two rounds, especially being somewhat of a home round for me, but Kyle [Blunden, KTM Racing Team Manager] and I made the decision to get some more bike time before we go racing, I’ve been back on the bike for about a week now. Everything has healed up well and is feeling good since I had surgery on my wrist, but we’re going to log some more laps and get more seat time so that we’re ready to race at Wollongong.
