A big weekend in Australia and the Adelaide round of the championship takes off today and tomorrow. Sunday will be for the mini bikes and SX3 riders. The fourth round of the Australian championship plays out this weekend and while the Paris supercross will get a lot of our attention here at MXlarge and we will have a MXGP type coverage of the weekends racing, down under, its also pretty hot.

Good start for the Aussies, with former GP rider, Jed Beaton winning the opening SX1 heat, ahead of fellow Aussies, Aaron Tanti and Luke Clout but in heat two, it was again the former AMA based riders, Joey Savatgy and Dean Wilson who showed the best speed. Superpole to Luke Clout, giving the large crowd in attendance something to be happy about.
