Arenacross - The Show
To help bring extra excitement and adrenaline to the 100th night of Arenacross, FMX legend Petr Pilat will be returning to the tour to add even more flair to the FMX shows alongside AX’s regular airborne squadron, Josh Morris, Aaron Powley, Dan Whitby and Jamie Squibb.
The Czech rider seemingly doesn’t have a spine, although it’s clear he has real backbone, as he contorts his body 30 foot plus up in the air to the point where of his heels almost touch the top of his head. It’s aerial ballet, made to look even more impressive by his lanky six foot plus frame. He’s incredibly skilled and he certainly isn’t shy when it comes to performing.
So much so, that Petr with his precision and immaculate timing made history by backflipping his motorcycle over a moving plane! The jaw dropping stunt helped Petr’s reputation as one of the most daring and respected FMX riders in the world.
The former FMX World and European champion, along with the rest of the FMX athletes have brought many Arenacross fans to their feet before and will be going all out to do so again to celebrate the 100th night of Arenacross at Manchester’s AO Arena this Saturday.
It’s going to be a back flippin’ crazy show, no doubt about it. You can be there to witness it, along with all the intensity of the racing as the Arenacross British championships are decided and the final qualifying round of the AX World Tour decides the racers who will make it to the World Tour Finals in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 5th July.
