ADAC Masters - This Weekend
This coming weekend (26/27 April), the ADAC MX Masters traditionally kicks off its 21st season in Fürstlich Drehna in Brandenburg. Strong international and national starters in the four racing classes ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 promise an exciting start to the series.
The challenging sand track "Rund um den Mühlberg" received numerous changes at the start of the season and will be driven clockwise again in its original direction after eleven years. Fans can watch the races on site at the racetrack as well as in the free livestream at adac.de/mx-masters to watch.
In the top class ADAC MX Masters, the cards have been reshuffled. Max Nagl (D/Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing powered by Krettek) wants to become the first rider to win four championships in a row after a team and brand change and become the sole record champion of the ADAC MX Masters with six titles. Local hero Maximilian Spies (D/Becker Racing) and Roan Van de Moosdijk (NL/KTM Kosak Racing Team) can have justified hopes of a top result at the start of the season.
Jakub Teresak (CZ/KMP-Honda-Racing by DVAG), Jere Haavisto (FIN/Gripmesser Racing Team) and Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) are also among the riders who can finish on the podium.
In addition to international stars such as the series newcomers Mitch Evans (AU/Luke's Racing – Hertrampf Group), Victor Alonso Rodilla (E/KMP-Honda-Racing by DVAG) and Glen Meier (DK/Johannes Bikes Suzuki), the German-speaking riders Marcel Stauffer (A/Osicka MX Team), Kevin Brumann (CH/MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing), Mike Gwerder (CH/HTS KTM Racing Team), Paul Haberland (D/Motorrad Waldmann), Tim Koch (D/Visualz Production), Lukas Platt (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), Cato Nickel (D/Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna) and Mark Scheu (D/SixtySeven Racing Team Husqvarna) are looking forward to good results.
In addition to the ADAC MX Masters class, the junior classes ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 will also compete in Fürstlich Drehna with participants from a total of 26 nations. The ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes will each contest three ranked races at the weekend, while the two ADAC MX Junior Cup classes will each contest two ranked races. The first races for championship points will take place on Saturday, immediately after the Last Chance race. For the first time, the ADAC MX Masters will start on metal star grids.
Fans can purchase their tickets at the box office or online in advance via the MSC Fürstlich Drehna website. Children from the age of six can gain their first motocross experience "on tour" at the ADAC MX Academy in three-hour taster courses. Pre-registration is possible online via the ADAC MX Academy website and, for remaining places, also on site. On Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Max Nagl, Maximilian Spies, Jakub Teresak and Noah Ludwig will be available to the fans at the autograph session at the ADAC MX Masters truck.
