The phrase "Veni, vidi, vici" is a famous Latin expression attributed to Julius Caesar, the Roman military and political leader. It translates to "I came, I saw, I conquered" and was used by Caesar to describe his swift and decisive victory during the Battle of Zela in 47 BC1.
