We have seen the last of two time World MX2 champion Antonio Cairoli on an MX2 bike. A big rumor in Italy is that Cairoli is out for the season. KTM rule as Searle and Barragan win in South Africa
Red Bull KTM rider Tommy Searle has pushed closer to MX2 series leader Tyla Rattray (also of the Red Bull KTM team) after winning the Grand Prix of South Africa today. Searle went 1-2 for a clear victory and looked very strong all weekend long. Second overall in the MX2 class was Rattray with 3-1 results. Team USA named for 2008 MXoN
The 2008 Team USA Motocross of Nations team was announced yesterday at Unadilla, and as many predicted, it's an all-Kawasaki team of James Stewart (MX1, captain), Ryan Villopoto (MX2) and Timmy Ferry (MX3/Open). It's the first time since 1986 that the team is comprised completely of riders on a single brand of motorcycle. That 1986 team was of course full of Honda riders. Read more...

Ramon, Cairoli and Rattray shine in South African sun
Defending World MX1 champion Steve Ramon of the Teka Suzuki team has clocked the best time of the MX1 class, taking pole position ahead of Red Bull KTM rider Max Nagl.
